The given line graph illustrates how much money spent on books in four different coutries from 1995 to 2005.
Overall, what stands out from the chart is that the data of Germany was always the highest and much higher than others. In addition, Austria started at the lowest.
Between 1995 and 1997, the amount of money used for books increased slightly from 30 to 40 millions in Austria, roundly 55 to 60 millions in France and 80 to 90 millions in Gremany while that of Italy remained stable at 50 millions. By 2003, the level of Austria went up significantly to about 60 millions, higher than that of Italy 2 millions and there was a slight drop in the data of Germany from 90 to 85 millions, accounting for 5 millions.
In the last year, the amount of money spent on books in Austria, Italy and France continued increasing to 71, 62 and 73 millions respectively. Additionally, the data of Germany reached the highest at 95 million after a slight drop.
