Explain why you have chosen to study at the University of York
Given this incredible opportunity to study at the University of York, I will grow both personally and academically. Particularly, I believe that studying the differences between British economy and that of Vietnam would benefit me a great deal in the future. It would be a valuable chance to shadow the lecturers at York and compare that economic knowledge to what I have learnt in Vietnam. Moreover, with York Futures, it is much easier for me to understand my options and plan for a career I’ll thrive in. From personal advice and skills programmes to careers fairs and internships, my future targets will become more achiveable. Besides getting academic knowledge, going to York gives me an opportunity to learn in a native environment. The University embodies diversity in clubs, extra-curricular activities and people. By being exposed to this wide range of experience and perspectives, I hope to broaden my horizons about British history and culture.
