Overall, in 2011 women are more addicted to social networks compared to men and after three years the percentage of people using everyday web-based social networks increased in both genders.
As is observed, only 8% of women never used social networks in 2011 in contrast to men with 44%. Similarly, about 39% of women have used internet services every day which is ten per cent higher than men with 29%. While only 12% of men spend time on social networks once a week compared to 39% of women in 2011. Moreover, a few times a week users account for about 19% of men and 39% of women in the same year.
However, web-based social network users' accounts increased daily which is around 45% of men and 59% of women by 2014. Likewise, few time users and once a week users account also has reduced in both genders which is 16% and 9% of men and 9% and 10% of women respectively. In addition, 30% of men and 22% of women were never using this internet facility in 2014.
