Statement of purpose

My parents run a small business and my sister is a student. I graduated from Banking Academy in Vietnam in July 2022. For the period of 4 years in university, I achieved a GPA of 3.76/4 majoring in Finance and Banking.
As an eager-to-learn person, I always keep my enthusiasm and love to explore new things. During my study in Vietnam, I always tried to find and accumulate not only knowledge from books but also knowledge from practice. I had a 9-month internship at a leading securities company in Vietnam. The result of that effort is a school scholarship each semester. Besides, I usually work as the group leader in each class to tutor the group members and do part-time tutoring work. The above work not only helped me consolidate and improve my knowledge but also helped me realize my passion for teaching. Since then, I cherished the intention of becoming a university lecturer.
After being suggested by the instructor and researching the master's program in Taiwan, I found this to be the right program for me. As mentioned above, as a studious person, I would like to study further in the field that I am interested in. Moreover, completing a master's program is a mandatory condition for becoming a lecturer. Therefore, I chose to study abroad for a master's degree in Taiwan.
Taiwan is a beautiful country with a developed economy. Taiwan has high-quality education in Asia, with a good learning environment and many opportunities for research and development. Taiwan's educational institutions are well invested with many top ranked universities in the world. Master's degrees from universities in Taiwan are appreciated and internationally recognized.
The rapid growth of the Vietnamese economy in recent years has created a great demand for human resources in the economic sector in general and in business administration in particular. The demand for lecturers to teach business administration has also increased. Especially when the economy is globalized, the demand for studying Business Administration in English is increasing day by day. Moreover, the business administration major will equip me with general knowledge about business management. I will use that knowledge to grow my family business.
After researching carefully, I realized that your university is the ideal learning environment with modern facilities, and experienced lecturers. Especially, the university has a good learning environment and many scholarship programs for international students. In the international environment of school, I have the opportunity to meet excellent students from all over the world as well as learn from top professors who are experts in my field. In addition, your university is also famous for training Business Administration which is the major I would like to apply in. What impresses me is the highly practical training program, which combines theory and practice to help students enhance knowledge and necessary skills.
For all these reasons, I have a strong desire for studying master's program in Business Administration in Taiwan. I believe that if I have a chance to study in this environment, I can achieve further skills and knowledge in Business Administration.
I would like to present my study plan for 2 years of studying in Taiwan:
In the first 3 months: I will get used to life and study in Taiwan, make new friends, and take classes to improve my Chinese.
In the next 9 months: I intend to study hard under the guidance of the lecturer, find information in the library, read books and attend seminars to improve my knowledge. I also plan to participate in a research project in the field of business administration at the university.
At the same time, I will determine the topic and research method for my graduate thesis. I aim to improve my Chinese by self-studying and interacting with friends. I will also travel to discover the culture and people of Taiwan. Besides, I will actively participate in extracurricular activities and school social activities.
In the final year: In this year, I will finish the research project that I mentioned above. Then I will concentrate on researching and completing my thesis to gain the best results.
When I finish my master's program in Taiwan, I would like to return to my country and use my acquired knowledge and accumulated experience to work as a lecturer in Business Administration at a university of economics in Vietnam.
If your university accepts me and offers me a scholarship, I will cherish this precious opportunity, study actively and seriously. I will comply with the regulations of the Taiwanese government and your university for foreign students.
