The two line graphs show the figures of 3 electrical equipments owned by households and the time spending for household chores between 1920 and 2019.
Overall, it can be seen that there was a contrast between 2 charts. While the first graph had an upward trends, the remaining one showed the contrary fashion.
In the first chart, it is clear that in 1920, only 5% of family owned Refrigerator which was 6 and 8 times lower than the percentage of vacuum cleaner and Washing machine, respectively. However, the year 1980 had marked a significant changes in the figures of the 3 appliances, thanks to the change in consumption habits of consumpmer, the possession of Refrigerator had increased to 100% which was only 10% higher than the figure of Vacuum cleaner and at the end of the process, both of these appliances had achived the same highest proportion. The number of households owning Washing machine had experienced a fluctuation before reaching at about 65% in 1980 and making a slight rise of 10% in 2019.
In the second chart, most people spent 50 hours per week doing household chores. However, this number had decreased to about 15% in 1980 before leveling off in the next 20 years and slightly dropping to only 10% in the last year of the process.
