The diagram below shows how oil is expected in use of production of perfume.
The diagram illustrates the process of extracting essential oil in the perfume manufacturing system. As can be observed, there involve 4 primary stages, commencing with boiling water and culminating in the extraction of oil and fragrant water.
The process begins when a water container is heated thanks to a heat source until it boils, releasing hot steam. This steam evaporates and then passes through a vessel to equipment filled with aromatic materials where the compounds present in such fragrant plants are converted into a vapor state. In the subsequent step, the vaporized oil goes through a spring-shape condenser in which the mixture of water and oil is condensed thanks to a cold water supply, transforming it into liquid form.
The procedure continues when the water mixed with essential oil is led to another tank called a separator. In this step, essential oil lies on top layer as it is much lighter, while aromatic water, which is also known as hydrolat, is forced through a pipe affixed at the bottom of the tank. Eventually, they are successfully filtered.
