The graph illustrates the amount of 3 major components in the Forest industry, namely Paper and packaging, Sawn-wood and wood pulp produced in 1980, 1990 and 2000 in the UK. As we can clearly see, the amount of paper and packaging stayed at the top while there were changes in the ranking of Sawn-wood and wood pulp over the years.
Firstly, the UK produced the paper and packaging the most with a staggering number of nearly 225 million tonnes in 1980 and increased to 250 million tonnes in 1990. In addition, the number had rocketed to 350 million tonnes in 2000, nearly 150% in comparison to the year 1990.

Another categories to mention are the production of sawn-wood and wood pulp. The number of Sawn-wood and Wood pulp is 200 million tonnes and nearly 175 million tonnes respectively in 1980. After that, they both fell to 150 million tonnes in the year 1990. However, in 2000 things took a turn when Wood pulp rose back to almost 175 millions tonnes about the same amount in 1980 while sawn-wood took another drop to about 125 millions tonnes, making sawn-wood third of all three categories.
