The graph below shows the number of enquiries received by the Tourist Information Office in one city over a six-month period in 2011. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

The line graph illustrates how many enquiries were received by the Tourist Information Office in one city through three customer service channels during the first six months of 2011.

Overall, the three channels experienced different trends in the time period. While inquiries made in person and over the telephone increased with some fluctuations, the number of email/letter enquires declined over time.

As shown in the graph receiving the number of direct enquiries started at nearly 400 in January. This figure doubled increased in the middle of March and remained constant until April. Then, the number of inquiries made in person witnessed steady growth to approximately 1200 in June. Regarding telephone channels, in January the Tourist Information Office received 800 enquiries from customers, which slightly dropped to 780 in February, but rose again to 800 in March. This figure stood at 800 until witnessing a significant increase to more than 1000 in June.

In contrast to the significant rise in direct inquiries, written enquiries gradually declined over the six-month period. The tourist Information Office received exactly 600 written enquiries in January, followed by a small decrease to around 580 in February. Then, this number fell gradually to about 420 in the middle of April before stabilizing. Subsequently, the figure plummeted to 200 in June.
