The charts below show the main reason for studying among students of different age groups and the amount of support they received from employers.
The first chart illustrates studies taken by various groups for careers and interest. While, second chart depicts the percentage of employers support students have with fees and time off.
Overall, students of age group under 26 dominated all other age groups for career. Despite this, in terms of interest it recorded the least. They got highest support from employers also.
With regards to the first graph, the reasons for studying for career decreases gradually from age group of under 26 to over 49. It is accounted as 80% to below 20% respectively. While, in terms the student studying for interest increased significantly in the same age group. Initiating at 10%, increasing to approximately 40% in 4 age groups before reaching at peak for over 49 recorded as 70%.
On focusing the second chart, the students who got support from employers by age group of under 26 at the highest percentage 65%. While other fluctuated and remains lower. People of 30 to 39 age group got support about two times less from the highest. In age group 40 to 49 and over 49 only one of ten difference had been seen.
