The bar chart illustrates the proportion of the gender distribution of teacher in six types of educational establishment in the United Kingdom in 2010.
In two of six grades, primary and nursery school, female teachers outnumbered male. There was a slowly difference in the secondary school, where women teacher’s number were still dominant. The percentage of women and men were equal in the college school. A contrast can be seen in universities and private institutions where male teachers are dominant in these two institutions. Males won in private training institute, by more than 50%. There was an enormous gap in the university, in which the number of male teachers was higher than females, 70% male teachers against 30% female teachers.
Overall, colleges and universities in the UK had more male lecturers than female, while, female teachers were famous in teaching from toddlers to secondary school
