The graphic depicts how to make cocoa products from cocoa bean.
Overall, the process is divided into three main stages which are preparation, processing and the final is packaging and delivery to consumer.
First of all, whole beans which is raw material are picked and dried. After that it is pressed and turn into cocoa liquor, while some of beans are transfered on shells. On the next steps, there are two ways to manufacture the liquor which are pressing and refinding.
Regarding further processing, on the one hand, cocoa liquor is pressed and turned into cocoa, while some of pressed liquor become cocoa cake. cocoa cake is grinded and become cocoa powder which can delivered to consumer and a small part is used for cakes and drinks in industry. On the other hand, cocoa liquor is refined, adding more sugar and the aforemention pressed cocoa to create industrial chocolate. Subsequently, the chocolate have to experience some further processing before really become finished chocolate products. The final step is delivered the chocolate to consumer.
