The graph illustrates how many men and women paid for cell phone service in Marysville over the period 1995 to 2015. As can be seen from the graph, the number of subscribers in both gender rose at similar rates during the first ten–year period and change differently in the next decade.
The number of male cell phone subscribers rose significantly between 1995 and 2015. In 1995, there were over 500 men paid for cell phone service. The number increased significantly over the next 10 years until it reached 2500 in the year 2005. From 2005 to 2010, the number of male subscribers maintained steadily. Then, the number rose slightly in the period between 2010 and 2015, when there were 2700 men subscribing to cell phone services in total.
Similarly, the number of women who paid for cell phone service increased in most years over the 2 decades from 1995 to 2015. There were 500 women subscribed to cell phone service in 1995 in Marysville. By 2005, the quantity had climbed sharply and reached the number of 2500 female subscribers. In the period from 2005 to 2010, there was a slight drop to about 2250 female subscribers. After that, there was no change between 2010 and 2015.
Overall, from the graph, it is clear that although the number of cell phone subscribers rose considerably in both men and women in Marysville, it rose more for men.
