The graph shows the percentage of growth rate in wages across a decade from 1993 to 2003 and how it is changes over the ten year period.
According to the graph, in 1993the growth rate in wages was only 2% and doubled to 4% after a year. This was followed by a gradual drop in 1995 by 5%. From then on, the graph was continuously increasing until it reached a peak of 6% growth rate in 1998.
However, after a year there was a sharp decline almost three times lower than the level of the previous year, which made 1999 level off the same growth rate in 1995 which was 3%. Although there was a minimal increase noted in 2000, the trends fell steadily reaching the lowest point at exactly 1% in 2002. Finally in 2003 the rate increased once again at approximately 2% which is the same growth rate at the start of the graph in 1993.
To sum up, there was period of percentage growth rate in wages over a ten year period from 1993 to 2003. Although the start and finish rate remained the same at 2%.
