Always telling the truth is the most important consideration in any relationship between people.

One of the most severe dilemmas that every one face with in life is whether to tell the truth or lie in every-day-life situations. As tempting as it is, telling lie is not only amoral, but also,in the long run, hurts relationships between people; therefore, I believe we’d better to tell the truth in our important relationships.

Telling the truth is not always rewarding. People naturally make mistakes and therefore they sometimes need to cover it somehow. One of the most frequently used tools is telling lie to others, trying to deny our mistakes. This approach may sometimes work successfully in order to save our relationships with each other.

Aside from the point I made above, one cannot oversee the fact that not telling the truth may ruin our relationships. We usually tend to make friends with people who tell us the truth, i.e, we can not develop a relationship with people who we think they lie to us because the main core of a relationship is being able to trust each other. Since we cannot trust people who lie to us, we do not start a relationship with people who we believe to be lairs.

Another point that worths to be mentioned is that telling is not a good approach especially in the long run. Telling a simple lie sometimes leeds to telling a chain of lies which are aimed to cover the very first lie. The more we lie, the higher the chance of getting caught by our friends. Therefore if we are going to develop a long-term relationship with someone, it is sensible not to start a lie because it might result in a series of lies which eventually will be discovered by our friend.

In a word owing to aforementioned causes and elucidations described above, it appears to be reasonable to draw the well-founded conclusion that telling the truth is an important issue in order to make a robust relationship, especially a long-term one.
