If you could change one important thing about your hometown, what would you change? Use
reasons and specific examples to support your answer.
In last decade my hometown developed greatly, In some article, I read that it is one of the fastest growing city of my country. Though it is developing that fast, it doesn’t have common problems such as transportation, air pollution like in other big cities. It’s also a historical city which is a magnet for tourists from all over the world. If I could change one thing about my hometown, it would be the coast lines of the city. The reasons are listed as follows.
The primary reason for my opinion is that coastal lines in my hometown are not elaborately cared. The city center is only twenty five minutes away from major coasts of the city, so it may be considered a coastal city. There are fourteen usable coasts in the city but none of them is considered healthy and lacks good beaches. Water is polluted and the people doesn’t care about beaches though it has a great potential. In summers, since we have many coasts, it’s very sad for us to go holidays to near cities or south shores of my country, I would restore all the beaches, clean the sea and make decent resorts. So it would be perfect for the local people of my hometown, They wouldn’t have to go to the other cities.Since it’s very near, they would go often even for weekend getaways and enjoy the beautiful waters.
Another reason for my inclination that it would have many economical benefits for the local people. Since it will start the lure tourists, locals will benefit from them. So it’ll decline the increased unemployment problem of my city. it’ll help to introduce to city to more people from the world and increase the amount of money inflows to my hometown.
All in a word, Taking into account of all these factors, Restored coastlines would be a great tool to introduce to city and have beneficial aspects for local people of the hometown.
