I am the person who really insist on chasing their dreams. In order to achieve my dream, I began to prepare from my high school. One day in my first year in high school, I was surprised to see the term "Landscape Architecture" on the Internet. I was curious what it meant so I searched it and found it to be a very special profession. I was very interested and felt that it was especially suitable for myself. Thus, I decided "Landscape Architecture" to be my university major. I feel determined to know more about the major so I read many books about landscape architecture.

Compared with the postgraduate study, the undergraduate courses are foundational knowledge of landscape architecture. I hope that through postgraduate study, I can learn more comprehensive and in-depth knowledge of landscape design, learn advanced design concepts, understand ecology, improve hands-on ability, and draw levels. I can initially form more great design ideas and learn advanced and diversified ideas and technical methods.

My hometown Chengdu is a beautiful garden city, which has lots of various parks, mountains, natural heritages and so forth. I think every place should have its own personality. I want to dig out their characteristics including culture, history, economy and so forth. Nowadays, since people may lack of security, I hope people can feel comfortable and get a sense of satisfying through my designs.

I have great confidence in the future development of this profession. How to balance the relationship between human and nature is an important issue. From my perspective, a landscape design project not only protect the environment but also it can provide an area with more energy like promoting the local economy. This is one of the main motivations for me to continue learning further. China is a developing country and there are lots of regions for us to explore. I hope I am able to build my hometown more beautiful and welcome through my little effort. I have a short-term goal. I can practice in a good company, start from the time of miscellaneous, and learn all aspects of knowledge, including professional, interpersonal, and other social experiences, to enrich my personal and professional knowledge. I should learn about this major in many ways and understand my duties and responsibilities. Through the previous work and study experience, after accumulating a wealth of knowledge and experience, with a certain amount of resources and funds, I can form a small studio with a group of like-minded and capable people. I am going to start with a small design studio, then slowly grow bigger and hopefully will succeed.
