Art classes, such as painting and drawing, are as important to a child’s development as other subjects, so they should be compulsory in high school. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?
In this contemporary life, people are more opportunities for their choices and many art classes as painting and drawing. There are some people believed that is important to a child’s growing as other subjects and advice that should be compulsory in high school. Personally, this argument has some advantages when children learn art but potentially coexist. This essay will examine my opinion.
Admittedly, there are some arguments in favor of children should be study art classes as a compulsory subjects in high school. First, government subsidies for gifted subject are believed to equalize opportunities talents among young people regardless of their family background. This art classes support, presumably, tends not only to increase the overall study enrollment rate of lower-income people but also to mitigate their feeling of inferiority, which promotes an egalitarian society. Second, art classes should be compulsory would probably result in a higher supply of highly qualified workers, which benefits society in the long run. In fact, it is acknowledged that talents and knowledgeable human capital is imperative to foster economic growth and technological development in any nations.
Nevertheless, the resultant problems would be far more significant than the minor benefits once art classes compulsory in high school. First, art classes should be compulsory would likely correspond with a tremendous strains on a country. Generating no income from extra class or talent fees, schools could over-reliant on the state budget for funding, meaning that there would be less input to develop other important areas such as healthcare system and transport infrastructure. Second, art classes should be compulsory tends many young people including those who are not academically inclined or show no interest in painting or drawing, thereby adding great burden for staff or government and potentially wasting time that these young people could have spent their time on suitable career paths. It, instead, would be a more viable option if the resources were focused on art lover.
In conclusion, statement has some advantages but this can be more disadvantages so I don’t agree with this argument. However, government need to consider for give the suitable classes.
