The data given in the bar chart depict the number students go to school by six different methods of transport in Australia, USA and UK.
Overall, car is the most popular choice in the USA and UK while Australians use school bus most. Conversely, other mean of transport excepting the five mentioned methods of transport stands in the lowest point.
As can be seen from the chart, a lot of students in America and British go to school by car, at 40% and 39% respectively, compared with lower number in Australia, at 25%. School bus is the most common mean of transport in Australia, at 37%, UK has 31% of students travel by school bus, while just under a quarter of students in America use this mode of transport.
Looking at the chart in more details, Australian children stands in the highest point in travelling to school on foot and by bicycle, at 19% and 8% separately. Besides, public transport is used the most commonly in the UK, at 12%, which is slight higher than that of Australia. The category marked “other” has the lowest number, only 4% in both the USA and UK, and 6% in Australia.
