limestone and clay are raw materials for preparing cement. Initially the raw materials are crushed together , then the mixture is passed to mixer for well mixing , then it is passed to cylindrical shaped rotating heater, this heater has a provision to outlet the heat and mixture separately, the final step in preparing cement is grinding the mixture. once all the mixture is finely powdered it is packed in bags.
cements main purpose is to prepare concrete , mixture of cement(25%) ,water(10%) , sand(25%) and gravel(50%) results in concrete.All the raw materials of concrete should be added up in the desired volume, else the concrete mixture will not be up to the mark to use for constructions.
