Writing task 1: TABLE – Using phone
The provided table demonstrates the proportion of phone users for diverse purposes from 2006 to 2010.
A glance at the given data reveals that phones was used most to make call and send and receive text massages. The regularity of using all features rose moderately over the period of 4 years, especially in these for entertaining aims.
The ratio of people using phones to make call was highest. It occupied the absolute percentage and maintained the same level between 2006 and 2008 before falling minimally to 99% in 2010. The figures for taking phone and sending and receiving text messages purposes had a slight growth through the shown period by 10% and 6%, respectively.
The rate of people who used phone to play games was 17% in 2006. It climbed significantly and reached the peak of 42% in 2008, then declined minimally to 41% in 2010. Likewise, the data for playing music intention also saw a gradual increase by 14% over the given period. The proportion of user searching the Internet and recording video peaked sharply from no data in 2006 to 73% and 35% in 2010, respectively.
