The chart shows information about different means of transport which are used by overseas visitors to New Zealand travel while they are in the country.
Overall, what stands out for the chart is that foreign tourists use public transport than private transport, even though cars still by are by far the most popular choice for holidaymakers. The highest percentage of a car using on holiday is nearly 70 percent. Another type of transport is the plane and coaches which more than 30 percent. The fourth popular mode of transport is the train, just over 20 percent. The boat is the least popular choice, with only below 10 percent of international visitors.
