The two maps illustrate road access to a city hospital in 2007 and 2010. Overall, traffic infrastructure outside the hospital had changed a lot after 3 years.
In 2007, the neighborhood around the hospital was rather simple. Ring Road surrounded the city hospital, and to the south of the hospital, Hospital Road gave access to 6 bus stops lying opposite each other. There was a car park for staff and public lying on the east of the Hospital Road, from there access to the city hospital is available in the north side. The City Road is perpendicular to the Hospital Road.
In 2010, a great deal of new infrastructures had been added to the surroundings of the hospital. There were 2 roundabouts in the intersection between Ring Road and Hospital Road and the interchange between City Road and Hospital Road. 6 bus stop had been replaced by a bus station, which could be approached through the two roundabouts. The old car park had been expanded into 2 sections, the car park for hospital staff was in the same location as the old car park, while the new space for public vehicles lies on the east of the hospital. Direct access to the hospital is all available in the two parking lot.
