The maps illustrate the developments which took place in the coastal Resorts of Templeton during the 15 years period from 1990’s.
In 1990, the resort was a environmentally better area with a significant amount of trees and individual households, but during the next 15 years Templeton undergone variety of dramatic changes. The most noticeable one is that all of the trees on the right bank of the river were cut down, as well as overwhelming majority of the woods on the left bank, with of the houses being replaced by flatblocks. Moreover, new Factory was built on the south-east part of the town, with new Ferry Facility available.
Another outstanding Feature is that railway was prolonged and now crosses the whole south side of the resorts, just beside the sea. Further development where creating a new street with supermarket on the west and the big household to the north of the lake with area around it was replaced by flatblocks and the airports on the other side of the bay.
Overall, a comparison of the two maps reveals a shift from rural area to predominantly urban infrastructure.
