The chart compare number of Japanese tourists has travelled from 1985-1995 year period, whereas the graph illustrates the data of Australia’s average share of Japanese tourist market. Overall, the number of Japanese tourists visiting climbed, while Australia’s share went up as well.
According to the bar chart, the number of tourists in Japan was 5 million since 1985. Then, the number increased in the following years. The number reached almost 6 million and 7 million in 1986 and 1987 respectively. Fortunately, the data continuously rose until it dropped slightly to 11 million in 1991. Then, [beginning from 1992, the number surged in an upward trend tremendously.
As we can see in the graph, the Japanese tourists has travelled much more, for the number was soared, from two percent to 5 percent from 1985 to 1988. Unfortunately, the dividend declined to less than 5 million and then further rocketed from exceeding 5 million into just more than 6 million from 1989 to 1993. Until 1993, the percentage leveled off slightly to exactly 6 million.
