The bar chart illustrates the academic staff percentage in faculties of a major universities by its gender in the year 2012. The popular subject are Arts, Business, Education, Engineering, Law, Medicine and Science.
Above 80% of the faculties in engineering colleges are men. Business and science men staff are over 60% in their academic. Followed by marginally 60% of men staff are in law colleges. Whereas arts, medical and education men staff members have less majorities than of female staff.
However, female staff have slightly under 80% of the academic staff percentage in education faculties. Arts and medical college also share nearly 60 academic staff in the year 2012. The report suggest that business, law and science college share more than half of the female percentage as compared to men share.
To recapitulate, recruitment of female staff is below 20% in engineering colleges. Men's rate of percentage is least in education purpose nearly 20% of the total. Medical universities share approximately same percentage of share for men and women.
