Dear Madam,
I am writing to you in reference to the feedback on complaints with reception area and my suggestions for improvement.
The reception desk on ground floor is located next to the entry gate leaving very limited space for entry and exit. The mail and courier desk is located adjacent to the reception desk. This causes a lot of congestion in the reception area during peak hours leading to employees waiting in queue for entry or exit.
Visitors entering the building wait in queue outside the entrance since there is no seating arrangement. This gives a very wrong impression about the infrastructure of the company. It becomes even more challenging for the visitors during harsh weather conditions.
Most of the organisations have their mail and courier desk located in the basement so as not to disrupt work routine. My suggestion would be to relocate the mail desk to basement of our office premises and to have a waiting lounge with furniture near the reception desk where the visitors can sit and wait.
I hope you would consider my suggestions and take the necessary action.
Sincerely yours,
Amber
