You recently received a letter from a friend asking for advice about whether to go to college or try to get a job. You think he/she should get a job.

Dear Tom,
It was pleasure to hear from you as always. First of all, please accept my congratulations for completing a university degree with ‘A’ grade. I am confident that this achievement will drive you towards eloquent and dazzling career.
In the letter, you asked me to advise you to choose the college or job. At this point of time, this is certainly a big decision for you. I have tried myself to put in your condition and in ponder that it will make more sense to join a job for following reasons.
Firstly, you don’t want to be dependent on you parents and starting job will provide you financial stability and independence. Secondly, since you want to pursue to master in business administration from premier institutes such as Harvard, oxford etc. , the on job experience will further strengthen your case for getting admission in these universities.
I hope that I clarified my thought process and it should help you to arrive on best alternative for your future.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Love,
Takila
