The pie charts below show the causes the diseases in developing and developed countries.
The two diagrams illustrate the differences in diseases in two groups of countries which are developing and developed ones. As can be seen from the pie charts, the proportion of fatal sicknesses is different in the two mentioned groups and infectious and parasitic diseases make up the largest amount in developing nations while that figure in developed one is the smallest.
In developing countries, heart disease accounts for 43%, which is nearly 2 times higher than that in developed ones, 24%. The percentage for cancer makes up 9% in developing nations, which is 12% lower than that in developed ones.
While there is a large number of people having infectious and parasitic diseases in developing countries, which is 46%, that just accounts for only 1% in its counterpart. Other diseases contribute 2% and 54% in developing and developed countries respectively.
