The two diagrams illustrate the differences in diseases in two groups of countries which are developing and developed ones. As can be seen from the pie charts, the proportion of fatal sicknesses is different in the two mentioned groups and infectious and parasitic diseases make up the largest amount in underdeveloped nations while that of unmentioned diseases is the greatest in industrialized nations.
In underprivileged countries, heart disease accounts for 43%, which is nearly 2 times higher than that in wealthy nations, 24%. On the contrary, the percentage for cancer makes up merely 9% in developing nations, which is 12% lower than that in their developed counterparts.
Moreover, looking at the percentage of people having infectious and parasitic diseases, we can see a 45- time difference in the percentage of infectious and parasitic diseases in developing countries and developed one, at 46% and 1% respectively. The charts also show that other diseases are the least common in unwealthy nations, which contribute only 2% whereas they make up the largest proportion in industrialized countries, 54%.
