Overall, international conferences were held in all cities over the period. In addition, while the figures for city A and city B generally decreased, there was an opposite trend in that of city C.
Turning into detail, 35 foreign meetings were organized in city A in 1965, which was a bit higher than a more-than-30-conference number of city B. In the next 20 years, while the figure for city B declined gradually to exactly 25 conferences, that of city A fell sharply to 20 meetings in 1975 before growing substantially by 10 conferences in 1985. Throughout the remainders of the period, oscillation were witnessed in both the number for city A and city B, remaining at over 20 and 25 conferences, respectively.
Regarding to city C, starting at only 5, its number of international meetings doubled in 1975. The figure grew considerably to more than 25 conferences in the next 20 years.
