The bar chart illustrates us the amount of money which was donated by the proportion of British citizens of different age groups for charity purposes between the year 1990 and 2010.
In 1990, people of age group comprising of 18-25 years old, donated around 16% of their money in charity which was declined to 6% in 2010. Furthermore, young individuals of age group 26 to 35 had given about 31% of their money in charity in the year 1990, while this trend was decreased in 2010 with approximately 24% people participated in this activity. Then, in the year 1990, almost 41% citizens took part in this event by making the highest contribution of age group (36-50) years, but it had also fallen to 34% in the following year 2010.
In contrast, people ranging between 50 to 65 years, this trend was accelerated from 35% to near about 40% in the year 1990 and 2010 respectively and people above age 65 accounted for nearly 33% to 35 % in the given years of 1990 and 2010 respectively.
Overall, citizens of age group between 36 to 50 made up the largest contribution in charity, whereas people between 18 and 25 had the smallest contribution in all the years of 1990 and 2010.
