The maps illustrate changes in access routes to a city hospital from 2007 to 2010.
Overall, it is clear that the ring road surrounding the hospital and the hospital itself were largely unchanged between 2007 and 2010, while the southern section of the hospital was upgraded significantly.
In terms of the hospital, there was no change in the building and the majority of the ring road, except a roundabout was constructed in the place of the original T-junction with Hospital Road and a large public parking lot was built to the east of the ring road. At the other end of the same road, a new roundabout was also built at the location of the crossroads with City Road.
Previously, the hospital was served by six bus stops alongside the Hospital Road, with three on each side. By 2010, these stops had been replaced by a bus station on the west of the Hospital Road. To the other side of the Hospital road, the combined staff and public car park had been turned into a staff car park only.
