The maps below show the center of a small town called Islip as it is now, and plans for its development.
The given maps show the layout of center of a small village which called Islip for now and development plan for the future.
In general terms, only few of facilities that are existing for now will be maintained while others will be changed or reconstructed.
Checking at the map for now in more details, there is a main road which crosses the center of town. Shops are formed at both northern and southern side of main road along the road. Housings are located at the southern direction field. The park is nearby housings and connected to road that attached to main road. School has been built at southwestern part of town and there is a way to access to school from western side of main road.
However, as is seen in the map for the future, main road is expected to be changed to road that is for pedestrian only. And dual carriage way will enclose the center of town including very northern side of town which is a countryside for now. The countryside will be separate as a bus station, shopping center, car park, and housing while shops that are formed at northern side of main road will be demolished. Moreover, the size of park will be decrease and new housing will be constructed at that place.
