Essay topics:

You are going to another country to study. You would like to do a part-time job while you are studying, so you want to ask a friend who lives there for some help.

Write a letter to your friend. In your letter,

give details of your study plans
explain why you want to get a part-time job
suggest how your friend could help you find a job

Dear Anita,

I am writing to inform you that within 10 days I will be arriving in Canada and I am busy with preparation. I have enrolled in Institute of Personal Care Science, Ottawa for four months intermediate course, full-time. It is quite expensive and worthwhile course.

To cover my cost of study, I am intended to do a part-time job. Not only the college fees are higher but I think the accommodation will also not be cheap. So for covering these expenses I would to arrange some employment before reaching to Canada.

I insist that if you could help me in this situation than I would be very fruitful to me. You can contact to your colleagues and relatives to see their if anyone needs room cleaner, nanny, or a cook for their family. I know you have vast network in Ottawa you can get access to them, I you wouldn’t mind. I would be grateful to you.

I look forward to seeing you soon.

Best wishes.

Shipra
