Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing this letter to inform you about the trouble that we residents of Park view street are currently facing, where the new administrative building for the local municipality is being constructed.
I live in the said residential area with my family for more than 4 years now. There are more than 300 homes are there in this street, comprising of apartments and individual houses and the street is the only way to commute in and out for all of us.
Let me explain you the situation in detail, in order to supply materials to the construction site a container truck has been parked in the middle of the street, from where the inputs are being moved as and when required. This is seriously causing a great deal of trouble to the dwellers here. Especially, we find it very difficult to take our vehicles out, as the truck is blocking the path. Particularly, in my case, I do not have public transport to reach my workplace, thus depending wholly on my own arrangements. Moreover, if this situation persists it will definitely affect not only office goers but also school children.
I would like to suggest some ideas to fix the issue. Perhaps you move the vehicle to somewhere around the corner of the street, an unused building site near the entrance, for instance, so that it can be kept away from blocking the way. You may probably employ trolleys and forklifts to carry things from there to the construction site.
I hope you will understand our concern. I look forward to a positive reply.
Yours faithfully,
Akilan Palaniappan
