You would like to buy some electrical goods at a shop in a nearby town.
Write a letter to the shop
1- ask if they have the things you want or whether they will be able to order them.
2- Ask what the prices are
3- how long they will be able to hold the goods for you.
Dear Sir,
I am writing to inquire about some electric goods which I need to buy for my newly constructed apartment. Let me provide the details.
To elucidate since I just moved in my apartment I need to order around 20 sets of Phillips tube light 20 amperes each, 5 units of 10-ampere bulbs, six extension cords, 6 units of halogen bulbs. may I know if you have these items in stock if not would it be possible for you to order them? Additionally, may I also know the prices of each product type as I would like to do a thorough comparison against prices provided by the online stores? Although I have heard that your store provides the best prices in the town even then I would like to do a comparison of prices to satisfy my curiosity.
Lastly, since I am travelling to Vietnam today on an urgent business trip may I know how long would it be possible for you to hold the aforesaid items so that I can decide when to order the electric goods?
I look forward to your response.
Yours sincerely
