The two charts clearly give informations about the percentage of energy consumed by an average Australian household and greenhouse gas emissions caused by the use of energy respectively. The two primary uses of energy are heating and water heating which contribute prominent proportion of emission as aftermath product from the energy cosumption.
Heating process spends less than a half of energy, but releases 15 % of the total greenhouse emissions. The water heating process is in the second position, precisely behind the heating process, consuming to one-third of the energy. Meanwhile, it contributes the greatest hazardous emission by 32 %.
The refrigerator unexpetedly takes only 7 % of the energy but gives double proportion of pollution. Furthermore, the use of energy and emission of dangerous gas by other appliances also presents similar results as only consumes 15 % of the energy while producing almost a quarter of the total greenhouse gas emissions.
