Overall, Line graph generally tend to climb throughout all years. However, 2 types of movement is clearly observed by between 1960 and 1985 and from 1985 to 211.
Within 25 years from 1960, percent recycling was more than total garbage recycling. Amount of waste recovery gradually increased from 5.6 million tons to 16.7 million tons to 1985. Similarly, percent recycling insignificantly increased between 6.4% and 10.1% but only in 1965 declined by 0.4%.
By contrast, between 1985 and 2011 total waste recovery went up more rapidly than percent recycling. Within the decade from 1985 a growth of percent recycling rose by about 2.5 times to 25.7% and then between 1995 and 2011 speed of a growth clearly reduced to 34.7%. However, amount of garbage recycling jumped from 16.7 million tons to 86.9 million tons from 1985 to 2011.
