Firstly, the electricity is consumed constantly higher in winter than in summer. Normally, the biggest consumption of electricity is at 10 pm during winter , at 48000 units while it is at 2pm that energy use peaks with 20000 units of electricity. By contrast, 30000 units of electricity, which is the lowest, is consumed at 7am during winter whereas 130000 units is the least energy use during summer at around 8am.
When it comes to the uses, the heating facility consumes electricity the most , which is about 52.5%. Meanwhile, ovens, kettles, and washing machines also play a vital role in English home, with the proportion of 17.5%. The interesting thing is that we can see the same percentage in household appliances, such as TV, food mixers, electric tool and so on, which are divided to two parts and represent 15% respectively.
Overall, it is apparent that the need for electricity id higher during winter than during summer while the major use of electricity is to heat the rooms and water.
