The passage discusses that million years age, when sinosaurs were alive, the envoironment of where they lived changed. So, because of bad condition on of these creatures migrated to another region. The passage provides three reasons for supporting this idea. However, the lecture states that this hypothesis is not correct and rejects all of author's reason.
First, the text says that Edmontosaurs fed on plants. During the cold climate eating plants was not practical because the weather was cold unsuiatable for growing plants. So, for having something to eat they migrated. However, the professor refutes this idea by stating that million years a go during the cold climate, the temperature was higher in comparison to today. So, the weather was warm enough for plants to grow. Also, if there were no plants or herbs to eat, these creatures could eat from dead remains of plants. The nutrition of dead plants was sufficient for creatures surviving.
Second, the text suggest that many skeletons belong to that creatures have found on the mentioned region that creatures migrated to there. However, the talk rejects thid idea too by stating that there is possibility that these skeletons are belonged to same creatures that lived there. So, the professor states that this documents is not convincing at all.
Third, the reading proposes that thise beast physically are capable to migrate, while the lecture rebuts this idea, again. The professor explains that the springs of these creatures were not physically caplale to migrate such long distanses. Additionally the springs of these beasts could not protect themeselves without their parents' help. So, this idea is not correct, too.
