You recently attended a meeting at a hotel. When you returned home, you found you had left some important papers at the hotel.
Write a letter to the manager of the hotel. In your letter
• say where you think you left the papers
• explain why they are so important
• tell the manager what you want him/her to do
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am Rakesh Soni, one of your frequent customer of your hotel. I am writing to report that unwittingly I have left some important documents in your hotel.
Let me explain the situation in detail. Two days ago, I had come there to attend meeting with one of my client. The meeting was in the evening time from 4:00pm to 7:00pm it was conducted in conference room no 1101 on 11th Floor. Once I departed the hotel, I noticed that I left some important documents in conference room, perhaps on meeting table. In particular, these documents are extremely important as they are part of contract agreement for our new project. As they are original documents I can’t afford to lose them. If these documents are not produced by next week to my office, I would be in great trouble.
I would request you to ask your staff to conduct thorough search in conference room and then hold these documents in your possession. Please give me call on +971565445213 once you have it so that I will come immediately to collect it.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours faithfully,
Rakesh Soni
