Dear Sir,
I am writing this letter to express my interest to pursue a short-term opportunity at the head office in Bulgaria for six months.
I came to know about this position from the weekly internal job posting email. I am really interested to work at the head office in Bulgaria to initiate a new project that involves the latest technology on which I got trained recently. This visit will also provide an opportunity for me to work with people directly involved in the project and enrich my skills and experience. I will utilize the knowledge gained from the project for the expanding the business of the company.
I will also ensure that I will transition all of my tasks to another resource, so he can efficiently take over my activities which I am currently handling to ensure the business here is not affected. Moreover, I will also offer my help to the associate when required.
I would like your help in arranging the backup resource for me and also helping me with travel arrangements to Bulgaria. It will be helpful if you can get me in touch with someone who is already stationed there to guide me.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Yours Sincerely,
John Davis
