From the chart, it was noticeable that over the 30-year period, people had started to drive by their own. The percentage of driving had increased dramatically and reached a peak, which was from 51 percent in 1990 to 92 percent in 2010. On the other hand, people who had taken bus had decreased sharply to only around 30 percent in 2010. In addition, the transportation of train and bicycle had shown some fluctuation. Throughout the 20 years, there were gradually decreased by seven percent and 15 percent of individuals using train and bicycle. However, the percentage of people who commuted train had become the second highest.
To sum up, it was clear that citizens in France had started to drive around by their own vehicles and less of them were taking the public bus.
