Dear Sir,
I am writing in reference to a request for an extension on monthly rental as I am facing some financial problems. Let me explain the situation in detail.
To elucidate unfortunately my company has abruptly closed its operations in India, therefore, most of the employees have been asked to leave. Although the employer has agreed to settle the salaries however it is going to take a few months. Additionally, I had recently purchased a car for which I have taken a loan from the bank hence I have to pay monthly instalments to the bank so I hope you would understand that it is a hand to mouth situation for me, therefore, I will not pay the rent on time.
Lastly, there is a piece of good news that I have been able to find a new job and the employer has agreed to pay this month’s salary in advance hence I would be able to clear the rent by the first week of May as the employers will be transferring the monthly wages in my salary account.
