The charts demonstrate the amount of money has spent on six Medical researches: AIDS, Leprosy, Tropical Diseases, Diarrhoea, Malaria and TB in Someland and the number of deaths caused by these illness in the same area in 1990.
Overall, what stands out from the graphs is that the money spent on the Medical Research influences remarkably on the elimination of deaths caused by those illness. For example, in Someland in 1900, AIDS has received the most funding and caused the second fewest deaths , whereas TB had the least funding but the most deaths.
Someland has pledged approximately $150 millions dollars in researching AIDS, followed by $75 millions of dollars on Leprosy and Tropical Diseases. Diarrhoea and Malaria also received $60 millions and $50 millions of dollars respectively while TB had the least support with merely $25 million.
As a result, in 1990, 1.75 millions of people in Someland died from TB which was the highest in the group. AIDS has caused 0.25 million deaths although it received the largest funding while the number of deaths of Leprosy patients was the fewest, at merely 0.1 million.
