You should spend about 20 minutes on this task.
You and your family are living in rented accommodation in an English speaking country. You are not satisfied with the condition of some of the furniture.
Write a letter to the landlord. In your letter
introduce yourself
explain what is wrong with the furniture
say what action you would like the landlord to take
Dear Mr. Smith,
I am writing this letter to complain regarding the furniture in your King's street apartment. I have been an exhilarated tenant for 3 years and I would like to bring into your notice about some of the house fittings are incapacitated. I am requesting you to please replace them by the end of this month.
We are staying in your apartment from the january of 2016 and am thanking you to provide all the brand new amenities in first place when we moved. However, the sofa in the living room is no more comfortable because the cushions are out of their shape. Furthermore, the almirah in master bedroom broke its door due to the moisture in it and we tried to fix it temporarily. All the fittings in the kitchen are covered with a layer of oil and terminte so we need to install one chimney and need to get hand on termite experts to poison them.
Would it be possible to call the bug experts on this weekend? I would be able to pack my essentials thus they can apply medicine in the kitchen properly. You can raise the rent for the subsequent months left in the lease but we need new furniture by June.
I hope you will take action on it as you always do. Take care.
Your's Sincerely
Apoorva Chikara
