The given picture illustrates the process of generating electricity from geothermal power.
Overall, it is clear that there are five steps required in producing geothermal power. It can also be seen that the underground setting of the devices needed is parallel to those above the ground.
The first step of making this energy is to pump cold water down by 4.5 kilometers into an injection well which is installed just right beneath this water pipe. This cold water is then run through an area namely geothermal zone consists of hot rocks to heat the water. After that, the production well is the hot water’s destination where the water is pumped back up to the condenser above the ground.
Inside the condenser, the steam from hot water activates the turbine which is connected to a generator. As the turbine spins, electricity is produced by the generator. This product enters the power plant and readying to be distributed through the power grid.
