TPO_43: Imagine that you are in a classroom or a meeting. The teacher or the meeting leader says something incorrect. In your opinion, which of the following is the best thing to do?
-Interrupt and correct the mistake right away
-Wait until the class or meeting is over and the people are gone, and then talk to the teacher or meeting leader
-Say nothing
behavior in a classroom or meeting is very momentous and asking question during the presentation is sometimes allowable but in many cases asking problems is not permissible and it is regarded an impolite manner. behavior of people in a classroom or appoinment are varied. some individuals prefer to interrupt the lecturer and correct his/her mistakes hastily but some people ignor the slipups during lectures and stay dormant. personally, I think that audiences should behave moderatley in such situations. I mean they should correct the lecturer after presentation without any disruption. I believe this way because of some noticeable reasons which I will explain them in the following.
First, interrupting a teacher or a professor is not moral manner. Furthermore, it has some negative outcomes on the presenter. I will distract him/her and maybe he/she will forget the main purpose of the presentation because of mental engagement or feeling of embaressment. I want to share on of my personal experiences in this ground. I had a scientific presentation in one of my university courses. I did my best to cope with this task. I investigated on a various fields to fulfill the requirements for an acceptable presentation. Finally, my important day was arrived and I started my deliberation. during my lecture I erred a very manifest matter due to my severe stress and meanwhile, one the listeners asked about that matter. He distracted me thoroughly and I urged to answer him but because of my mental occupation due to my previous error, I completely forgot rest of my presentation. that's why I think it is not fair to ask inquiry during any speech.
In conclusion, I should assert that I prefer not to disrupt a presenter during lecture because not only it leads to distraction but also it will diminish his/her self-confidence.
