In the next 2 years, the percentage of car sales, in Europe, rose dramatically to reach a peak of 50% (2010). By contrast, the figure for car sales, in Asia, dropped significantly to 30%.
The rates of car sales, in South and North America, gradually decreased from 11% and 29% (2006) to 5% in 21% (2009), respectively. By 2010, the number of car sales in South America climbed again to the same point as 2006. By contrast, the proportion of car sales, in North America, fell dramatically to 9% which was the lowest point in 2010.
