Decreasing from approximately 230 grams per person in 1979, Beef’s rate plunged to a low of 175 grams. This was followed by a dramatic rise reching a peak of 240 grams per head in 2004. Furthermore, it was reducing with sudden drops and indicator stopped at 110 grams per capito in 2004. The figures for the chicken at the beginning of the period, averages of chicken and lamb were nearly 140 and 150 grams. Respectively increased gradually throughout the period and achieved 250 grams per weak. By contrast, the consumption of lamb was declining steadily and finally ended the milestone up with 60 grams.
However, the most noticeable pattern was in the fish rate. Unlive other rinds of meat, it was significantly stable. Starting with 60 grams per inhabitant, it fell merely to 50 grams.
To sum up, people started eating chicken because of dissemination of fast food restaurants, such as KFC and Church’s chicken. That is why, the consumption of other kinds of meat decreased.
